Damnhot.net: Baby in the Parliament (14 pics) Posted: 14 Mar 2011 07:53 AM PDT European Parliament member Licia Ronzulli took her 1-month-old baby to the Parliament session in Strasbourg. She was trying to demonstrate how tough it is on working mothers. She looks like she is pretty put together for a 'working mother'. On another note, Parliament voted 163 to 14 that she should come forward and let them watch her nurse the baby.

Whale Hunting in Indonesia (23 pics) Posted: 14 Mar 2011 07:18 AM PDT In a small village in southern Indonesia off the coast of the island of Lembata, the local fishermen battle whales and sharks from a very small wooden boat with sticks. They capture the fish by harpooning them with long spears, and then dismember them in the water because the whales are too heavy and large to pull aboard their small boat.

It would appear that they can no longer contain their emotions. As a result, they behave in a unique way and act very unusual.

The Endurance and Antarctica (19 pics) Posted: 14 Mar 2011 03:40 AM PDT This is a photo Sir Ernest Shackleton’s voyage on the ship Expedition that was rather ill fated. It was taken by photographer Frank Hurley in 1915. It was part of the British Imperial Trans Antarctic Expedition. The ship became trapped in the Antarctic ice. Mr. Hurley salvaged the photographic plates by diving into the icy water inside the sinking ship.
